Strict Action To Be Taken Against Candidates Involved In Misleading Qualifications In ADRE Grade IV Exam: CM Sarma

The state government will take strict action against BA graduates or those with similar degrees who lied to get jobs meant for lower qualifications, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma affirmed.

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has issued a stern warning to those candidates who concealed their educational qualifications during the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) Grade-IV exam. The government will take strict action against BA graduates or those with similar degrees who lied to get jobs meant for lower qualifications.

The Chief Minister urged the public to report any such candidates to the government, assuring that legal action would be taken against those found guilty. Authorities confirmed that action will be initiated before the interview round, with the cancellation of candidature and legal proceedings against offenders.

The move aims to uphold fairness and transparency in the recruitment process, ensuring deserving candidates receive job opportunities. The government’s appeal has garnered positive public support, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining integrity in the hiring system.

Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday, March 2, announced the dates of the declaration of results of some key recruitment tests, including the Assam Direct Recruitment Exam (ADRE) for Grade III and Grade IV posts.

Results will be declared on the following timeline: the results for Assam Police Drivers will be out on March 4, then the Assam Police Sub-Inspector (SI) results will be out on March 6. The Assam Police Constable results are set for March 12, while the ADRE results for Grade III and Grade IV will be announced on March 7. Additionally, the results for the Assam Police Commando Battalion Constable will be declared on March 27.
