To promote financial inclusion, the Canara Bank Mangaldai Branch organized a large-scale account opening camp at Pandit Dindayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalya (PDUAM) in Dalgaon on Thursday.
The event was held under the leadership of Principal Dr. Lakkhi Prasad Hazarika and Dr. Kumar Chandan Jyoti, the Coordinator of the Training and Placement Cell. In his opening remarks, Principal Dr. Hazarika expressed his appreciation to the bank staff for their prompt and efficient service to the college, which he believes will yield positive outcomes in the future. Branch Manager Kokong Tamuk also conveyed his gratitude for the successful organization of the camp, highlighting various savings bank products, particularly the ASPIRE initiative. Approximately 1,000 students participated in the camp, resulting in the collection of around 600 account opening forms, with accounts being established on-site through tab banking.
