A new trailer for ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ has been unveiled

Marvel Studios has unveiled the new trailer for ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps,’ presenting the MCU’s interpretation of the iconic superhero team. The film features Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (The Thing). The trailer, shared on Marvel’s official social media platforms, depicts a retro-futuristic Manhattan set in the 1960s, where the Fantastic Four stand as the sole heroes. The accompanying caption reads, “Together. As a family. Marvel Studios’ #TheFantasticFour: First Steps arrives in theaters July 25.” Fans of the franchise expressed their enthusiasm in the comments, with one stating, “We have a feeling this is going to be fantastic,” while another added, “Looks great can’t wait…” The film also features Galactus, a planet-consuming antagonist portrayed by Ralph Ineson, alongside Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer.

‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ signifies the official debut of the team within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox. This film aims to provide a new perspective on the classic characters, intentionally excluding cameos from other Marvel heroes. The Fantastic Four have previously appeared in films featuring Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, and Michael Chiklis in the 2000s, as well as a 2015 reboot starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell. ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ is set to premiere in theaters on July 25.
