In Dibrugarh, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma officially opened the “Bagmibor Nilmoni Phukan Uroniya Setu” flyover located at Thana Chariali on Mancotta Road on Sunday evening. Union Cabinet Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, along with Assam’s State Cabinet Minister Prashanta Phukan, MP Rameswar Teli, and several other dignitaries attended the event.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly built Convoy Road flyover, named “Dr. Leela Gogoi Uroniya Setu,” which connects Convoy Road to NH-37. During the ceremony, Himanta Biswa Sarma remarked, “Today, we inaugurated two flyovers in Dibrugarh, both of which will alleviate the city’s traffic issues. More flyovers are planned for Dibrugarh in the future, as we are dedicated to the city’s development.”
