Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has conveyed a message of national unity to the citizens of India following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. As he anticipates the release of his forthcoming film ‘Kesari Veer‘, he spoke with IANS, urging his fellow countrymen to unite and set aside their differences. He likened the film’s theme to the current needs of the nation, as it portrays the resistance of locals against the Tughlaq Empire’s invasion to safeguard the Somnath Temple and the Hindu faith.
Suniel emphasized, ‘The message is unequivocal: the nation takes precedence over all else. Individuals from diverse backgrounds must unite to combat a common adversary, which is evil. This mindset is essential today. We must not allow hatred and fear to dominate; instead, we should harness our collective strength and values to demonstrate our unity to the world, ensuring that we remain undisturbed.’ Previously, a video of the actor from Kashmir gained traction on social media, where he encouraged Indians to support Kashmir by boosting its tourism economy. He also referenced the 26/11 attacks, when armed terrorists infiltrated Mumbai, India’s economic hub, unleashing terror before being subdued by the National Security Guard during a three-day operation.
