Assam: PDUAM Dalgaon conducts a career counseling program

MANGALDAI: With the excitement of nearly four hundred students from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya (PDUAM), Dalgaon, and ITI, Dalgaon, a significant career counselling and vocational guidance event was held by the District Employment Exchange, Darrang, in partnership with the State Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship department at PDUAM, Dalgaon.

District Employment Officer, Darrang, Ajitabh Barman, along with faculty members from Assam Skill University, Mangaldai, and ITI, Dalgaon, representatives from Anudeep Foundation, and officials from the local industries group SRD participated as resource persons. The speakers aimed to inform the students about potential future career opportunities and discussed ways to improve employability skills and related topics.

During the inaugural session, which was presided over by Dr. Lakhi Prasad Hazarika, Dr. Kumar Chandan Jyoti, Coordinator of the Training & Placement Cell at the college, outlined the objectives of the programme. The speakers commended the college’s initiative to empower youth through effective career counselling and skill-oriented guidance.
