In a notable intelligence-driven joint operation on Thursday, personnel from F/142 Bn CRPF, in collaboration with Civil Police Merapani, executed a targeted raid at a residence situated in the Merapani Forest Block, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Merapani police station, Sector ‘D,’ DAB. During this operation, one individual, known as Lute Gurung, was taken into custody.
A total of 3567 tablets of SAMPEX+, weighing around 2.145 kilograms, were confiscated from the location. The detained individual, along with the seized contraband, was subsequently transferred to the Merapani police station for further legal proceedings.
