Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Crafting the Future of a Resilient and Advanced India

Guwahati: India is on a path to becoming a Developed Nation by 2047, which will mark 100 years of independence, driven by its transformative initiative known as Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India). This national movement, initiated under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeks to enhance domestic capabilities, decrease reliance on imports, and realize India’s complete economic potential.

Significant advancements have been achieved across various sectors:

•Semiconductors: India is establishing chip manufacturing facilities to ensure digital independence and satisfy the increasing demands of technology. Defence: The domestic production of fighter jets, drones, and artillery is positioning India as a global arms supplier.

•Green Energy: Through investments in solar, wind, electric vehicles, and green hydrogen, India is hastening its shift towards a clean and sustainable economy.

•Agriculture: Innovations in smart farming, the emergence of agri-tech startups, and government initiatives are revolutionizing rural India.

•Space: The Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Chandrayaan and the forthcoming Gaganyaan missions underscore India’s leadership in cost-effective space exploration.

•Manufacturing & Infrastructure: Programs such as Make in India and PM Gati Shakti are enhancing industrial development and connectivity.

With a growing middle class, a young workforce, and an economy driven by innovation, India is on track to achieve a $30 trillion economy by 2047.
