News, the 56-year-old star, recognized for her performances in ‘Friends’ and ‘We’re the Millers’, revealed that she has been utilizing hypnosis and meditation to alleviate her fears.
Aniston mentioned that hypnosis has been instrumental in helping her confront her fear of flying. As part of this process, she needed to let go of certain superstitions, which included tapping the exterior of the aircraft with her right hand and boarding the plane with her right foot. “I have been practicing hypnosis recently, and one of the key aspects is to eliminate those superstitions,” she stated, adding, “I no longer follow the right hand, right foot routine—and now it feels remarkably good!” as quoted by E! Furthermore, Aniston shared techniques that assist her in calming her anxiety during flights. “Engaging in a good meditation can really help,” she noted. She also finds it beneficial to get up from her seat to walk around and stretch, as these simple actions contribute to her sense of control and relaxation while flying.
