Assam: 35 retired officers re-engaged in various government posts

As many as 35 retired officials, including IAS, IPS, IFS, ACS, and other cadre, were re-engaged in various government posts after their retirement.

Guwahati: As many as 35 retired officials, including IAS, IPS, IFS, ACS, and other cadre, were re-engaged in various government posts after their retirement.

This was revealed by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in reply to a question posed by Congress MLA Sibamoni Bora in the state Assembly today. Some of the officers engaged anew by the state government are MK Yadava, Ranjan Sarma, KJ Hilali, Munindra Sarma, Luish Aind, Jitmol Doley, Banya Gogoi, Mrinal Sarma, Dibyadhar Gogoi, Raj Chakraborty, Chandan Sarma, Dibyajyoti Saharia, Bibhuti Saikia, Gautam Das, Biraj Talukdar, Bhudev Sharma, Kushal Kumar Saikia, Dr. Nitul Sarma, etc.

The primary reason given for providing them employment after retirement is that these officers displayed good ability and skills during their service tenure.
