Assam: Bobbeeta Sharma Steps Down from All APCC Positions, Calls for Reforms and Supports New Leadership

GUWAHATI: In a notable development, Bobbeeta Sharma has made the decision to step down from all her political roles within the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee for personal reasons. She expressed her gratitude to all leaders of AICC and APCC for the opportunity to serve the people of Assam through the Indian National Congress—a party with a rich legacy that has been part of her life since her formative years.

“I wish Sri Gaurav Gogoi, the newly appointed APCC president, and his team the very best, and I hope they can guide the party towards a brighter future, purifying it from within,” Bobbeeta Sharma remarked in a press release.

“We submitted the Panchayat Elections Enquiry Committee Report to AICC, chaired by Ex-MP and former APCC President Sri Paban Singh Ghatowar, along with Sri R. P. Sharma, Ex-MP, as a member, and myself as member-secretary. I trust that our recommendations will be implemented in both letter and spirit for the advancement of the party,” she added.
