In a source-based operation, two vehicles were intercepted, leading to the recovery of 310 grams of heroin. Excellent work, @assampolice.”

The operations were launched on the basis of intelligence reports regarding the transportation of narcotics in Assam’s Cachar district. Police were able to intercept two vehicles, and 310 grams of heroin were seized, which is estimated to be worth more than Rs. 1.5 crore on the street value. The authorities apprehended the suspects involved, and investigations are ongoing to identify and dismantle the broader network of drug suppliers.
