Australian cricket legend David Warner is set to make his debut in Indian cinema with the Telugu film ‘Robinhood,’ which stars actor Nithin in the lead role. Warner expressed his enjoyment during the filming process. The production company, Mythri Movie Makers, which is behind director Venky Kudumula’s upcoming Telugu action film ‘Robinhood,’ officially welcomed Warner into the Indian film industry on Saturday. On their X timeline, the production house shared a poster featuring Warner and stated, “After excelling on the cricket field, it is now his turn to shine on the silver screen. We are excited to introduce the beloved @davidwarner31 to Indian Cinema with #Robinhood in a thrilling cameo. The film will have a grand worldwide release on March 28th.”
Shortly after this announcement, David Warner shared on his X timeline, expressing his enthusiasm: “Indian Cinema, here I come. I am thrilled to be part of #Robinhood. I thoroughly enjoyed the filming process. The grand release is set for March 28th worldwide.” As indicated by its title, ‘Robinhood’ features Nithiin in the role of a thief who robs the wealthy to assist the less fortunate. He portrays a character named Honey Singh, who engages in a series of heists. Nithiin’s character is depicted as fearless and principled, willing to confront anyone for the right cause.
