‘Baahubali – The Epic’ is set to premiere on October 31

As ‘Baahubali The Beginning‘, one of India’s most remarkable blockbusters, celebrated its 10th anniversary on Thursday, the franchise director, S S Rajamouli, revealed plans to commemorate this occasion with the release of ‘Baahubali – The Epic‘, a two-part film compilation, scheduled for October 31 this year.

In his Instagram stories, S S Rajamouli expressed, “Baahubali. The beginning of numerous journeys. Countless memories. Endless inspiration. It has been 10 years. We are marking this significant milestone with #BaahubaliTheEpic, a two-part combined film. In theatres worldwide on October 31, 2025.” It is worth noting that just a few days prior, one of the film’s producers, Shobu Yarlagadda, reflected on the anxiety and tension experienced in the moments leading up to the film’s release.

On his X timeline, Shobu Yarlagadda shared, “In a few days, it will be 10 years since @BaahubaliMovie ‘The Beginning’ had its theatrical release! The period leading up to the release and the days immediately following were filled with anxiety and tension for me and everyone involved with the film.” The producer further remarked, “I revisited some screenshots I had taken during that time, and they evoke a wave of memories. Do you recall your thoughts about #Baahubali at the time of Part 1’s release?” He also included tweets from film critics who lauded the film after its press screening in Mumbai on July 9. Additionally, the producer shared tweets from articles that forecasted the film’s box office performance and the audience’s enthusiasm for it. It is important to remember that Baahubali: The Beginning, the first installment of a two-part franchise directed by S S Rajamouli and starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah in lead roles, premiered on July 10, 2015. The film shattered box office records, establishing itself as a monumental blockbuster.
