Music composer Rishabh Kant, who is recognized by his stage name The Rish, has stated that his composition ‘Barbaad’ from the recently released blockbuster ‘Saiyaara’ has redefined the contemporary love song.
‘Barbaad’, which appears at a pivotal moment in ‘Saiyaara’, features a robust melody enhanced by exceptional production, and narrates the tale of the protagonist (played by Ahaan Panday) falling in love with the female lead (portrayed by Aneet Padda). For this song, Rish has partnered with Mohit Suri and Yash Raj Films. Discussing this collaboration, he remarked, “Working with Mohit Suri was a dream come true. ‘Barbaad’ is transforming the way love songs are crafted, breaking conventional molds.”
The song is performed by Jubin Nautiyal and depicts a transition from uncertainty to complete surrender in love. “Jubin conveyed the journey so effortlessly, with profound depth,” Rish expressed.
Without any film background, making his debut with YRF exceeds his expectations. “They are the creators of a legacy, and I truly believe Saiyaara is destined to set a new benchmark,” he concluded.
