Actor and filmmaker Arbaaz Khan and his spouse, Sshura Khan, have reportedly welcomed their first child together on Sunday—a baby girl. Although the new parents have yet to officially share the joyous news on social media, numerous media outlets have confirmed the arrival of the latest addition to the Khan family. On Monday, the couple hosted a delightful baby shower in Mumbai, where they were seen coordinating in yellow.
The intimate gathering was attended by family members and close friends, including brothers Salman Khan and Sohail Khan, Sohail’s son Nirvan Khan, sister Arpita Khan, and Iulia Vantur. Actress Nia Sharma, Jannat Zubair, and Gauhar Khan were also present at the baby shower, along with other relatives of the Khan family and close friends.
Based on the glimpses from the baby shower that circulated on social media, the venue was adorned with a vibrant array of balloons. The decoration featured a purple theme, complete with macarons and arch backdrops. A delicious cake was also visible in a photo shared by Nia on her Instagram stories. A large purple teddy bear was spotted holding colorful balloons.
To refresh your memory, after rumors began circulating that the couple was expecting their first child, Arbaaz confirmed Sshura’s pregnancy back in June of this year.
For those unfamiliar, Arbaaz and Sshura reportedly first met on the set of “Patna Shukla,” where Sshura worked as a makeup artist.
After developing feelings for each other, the couple ultimately tied the knot in a private ceremony in Mumbai in December 2023. This marks Arbaaz’s second marriage, as he was previously wed to actress Malaika Arora.
This is also Arbaaz’s second child, following his 22-year-old son Arhaan Khan, whom he shares with his first wife.
After being married for 17 years, Arbaaz and Malaika chose to part ways in 2017. Nevertheless, they continue to co-parent their son Arhaan.
