Salman Khan commemorated Ganesh Chaturthi with his family on Wednesday in Mumbai. In a video posted by Salman Khan on Instagram, the actor was observed performing aarti, which was initiated by his mother, Salma Khan, and father, Salim Khan.
The video commenced with a view of a stunning idol of Ganpati, adorned with flowers. Initially, Salman’s mother, Salma Khan, conducted the aarti, followed by the actor’s father and esteemed lyricist Salim Khan. Salman Khan, attired in a black shirt and beige trousers, performed the aarti and offered prayers to Lord Ganesha. The video featured a Ganapati song playing in the background.
Subsequently, Salman Khan’s siblings and other family members, including Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Alvira Khan, Alizeh Agnihotri, Arpita, Aayush Sharma, and their sons Ahil Sharma and Ayat Sharma, joined in.
The Bollywood duo Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, along with their children, also took part in the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities with Salman Khan and his family. Salman Khan was not the only celebrity who observed Ganesh Chaturthi on Wednesday. Numerous stars gathered at Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s home to celebrate the event. The couple, who married in February of the previous year, hosted a special puja at their residence in Mumbai. The celebrations featured a blend of film stars and cricketers uniting to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha in a traditional yet glamorous manner. Ananya Panday was among the first celebrities seen at the gathering.

Her outfit included a long kurta with delicate golden embroidery and a scalloped hem, paired with flowing white bottoms. She completed her ensemble with a matching dupatta gracefully draped over her shoulders. Ananya maintained a minimalistic style with soft waves in her hair and simple juttis. Adding a touch of Maharashtrian flair, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia arrived together, capturing attention. Riteish appeared dashing in a white kurta-pyjama complemented by a deep red Nehru jacket, while his long hair and beard enhanced his overall appearance.
