Recent speculation connecting Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj with actress Mahira Sharma has gained significant attention. However, Siraj has refuted these allegations and requested that the media refrain from questioning Mahira about him.
The dating rumors originated when Siraj expressed his approval by liking one of Sharma’s photos on Instagram. The situation escalated when fans observed that the two began following each other on the platform in November 2024. The rumors further intensified after a video from March 20 went viral, showing Mahira at an award ceremony in Mumbai, where photographers jokingly inquired about the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) and her favorite team.
This playful interaction fueled additional speculation regarding her relationship with Siraj. In response, Siraj addressed the rumors on his Instagram story on March 21, stating, “I request paparazzi to stop asking questions around me. It is completely untrue and baseless. I hope this ends,” accompanied by a folded hands emoji. Although he did not directly mention Mahira, his message was interpreted as a clear effort to dispel the rumors. He has since removed the post.
Mahira Sharma has also denied any romantic connection with the cricketer. She gained prominence after her participation in Bigg Boss 13 in 2019 and was previously in a relationship with fellow contestant Paras Chhabra until 2023.
