The name of the garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan will henceforth be known as Amrit Udyan. It has been decided to rename the garden at the residence of the President of India known as Mughal Garden. Navika Gupta, Deputy Press Secretary to the President, told news agency ANI that on the occasion of the 75th anniversary celebration of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the President of India has given a general name to the garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan as Amrit Udyan. However, both names are still mentioned on the Rashtrapati Bhavan website.
