NHM Assam Nurse Recruitment
The National Health Mission (NHM) of Assam has issued a recruitment notification for the hiring of 1138 Assam Nurses’ Midwives (ANM) positions under NHM, Assam. The candidates who are selected will be assigned to various government hospitals throughout Assam. NHM Assam Nurse Recruitment Details:

- Salary: Rs. 18,000/- per month
- Educational Qualification: ANM Nursing Course passed from any nursing school / recognized institution and must be registered under “Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ and Health Visitors’ Council”
- Age: up to 40 years as on 01/01/2025 (Relaxation in maximum age : SC/ST candidates – 5 years, OBC/MOBC candidates – 3 years, PWD candidates – 10 years). The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Board/ Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.

Place of Posting for NHM Assam Nurse Recruitment
The National Health Mission (NHM) in Assam has divided all districts of Assam into five zones. Once a candidate is selected for a specific zone, she will be assigned to the corresponding districts. The separation of districts by zone is detailed below.
- Barak Valley: Cachar, Hailakandi, Karimganj
- Central Assam: Morigaon, Nagaon, Hojai
- Lower Assam: Bajali, Baksa, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Dhubri, Goalpara, Nalbari, Kamrup(M), Kamrup, Kokrajhar, South Salmara, Tamulpur
- North Assam: Biswanath, Darrang, Sonitpur, Udalguri
- Upper Assam: Charaideo, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Majuli, Sivasagar, Tinsukia.
