NAGAON: The Dadi Rajal Bindal family held their biennial event on Sunday evening in a spiritual setting at BRD Venkat Hall in Haibargaon Telia Patti. During this event, the Dadi Rajal Bindal Darbar was adorned with flowers, attracting a large crowd who participated in Dadiji’s ‘jyot.’ Local artists Nirmala Alampuria, Mukesh Poddar, and Deepak Jajodia contributed to the devotional ambiance by performing a series of bhajans. Following this, a meeting was convened, presided over by Gaurishankar Jajodia, who informed the assembly about the accomplishments achieved during his tenure. In the meeting, Secretary Omprakash Jajodia presented the secretary’s report, which received unanimous approval from the assembly.
Both Secretary Omprakash Jajodia and Treasurer Ram Gopal Jajodia were honored with the Vishisht Seva Samman by President Gaurishankar Jajodia for their outstanding service. Additionally, meritorious students from Mangalgotri were recognized with mementos and awards. Furthermore, Deepak Jajodia, Ratan Jajodia, Lata Shobha Sariya, Dilip Shobha Sariya, Dinesh Shobha Sariya, and Rajendra Prasad Jajodia, along with Gunjan Agarwal, were also honored with mementos for their exemplary contributions.
In the meeting, social worker Ratan Jajodia was elected as president for the 2025-27 session, while Pradeep Shobhasaria, Pradeep Jajodia, Pawan Jajodia, and Om Prakash Jajodia were elected as vice-presidents. Sunil Agarwal was appointed Secretary, and Manoj Jajodia and Dilip Shobhasaria were designated as Joint Secretaries. Ram Gopal Jajodia was appointed Treasurer, and Dinesh Shobhasaria took on the role of Public Relations Officer.
The newly-elected president announced his new executive committee during his address. Rajal Bindal Dadi Trust Board officials Ram Niranjan Jajodia and Sajjan Jajodia, who traveled from Guwahati, spoke at the meeting. At the conclusion, the meeting’s president, Gaurishankar Jajodia, expressed gratitude to all for their contributions to the program’s success and congratulated the new office bearers.
