Repolling conducted in Gutung, Assam, with a voter turnout of 85.76%

Re-voting took place at Polling Station No. 47 located in Gutung Primary School, Bokakhat, in accordance with the directives issued by the Election Commission following the initial phase of the Panchayat elections.

BOKAKHAT: The initial phase of the Panchayat election in the Bokakhat co-district of Golaghat district was completed on Friday, alongside other areas. However, a re-vote took place today at Polling Station No. 47, located at Gutung Primary School, which is part of the 15 No. Disoi Gaon Panchayat under the jurisdiction of the 3 No.

Mohura Zila Parishad, following the instructions of the Election Commission. This re-voting was required due to a mistake made by the polling officer during the previous voting process. Today, the voter turnout reached 85.76%, with a total of 583 registered voters at the polling station.
