Guwahati: In a moment of pride for the region, seven educators from Northeast India have been honored with the National Teachers’ Awards 2025, which is among the most prestigious accolades in the education sector.
The awards will be presented by President Droupadi Murmu on Teachers’ Day, September 5, during a ceremony in New Delhi. Officials indicated that the distinguished teachers were selected for their exceptional contributions to innovation, commitment, and dedication in enhancing the quality of education and motivating young learners. The National Teachers’ Awards, established by the Ministry of Education, are designed to acknowledge the vital role of teachers in nation-building and to promote excellence in teaching methodologies.
