Required Eligibility:

Education:-

The applicant is required to possess a degree from any university established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or from other educational institutions recognized by an Act of Parliament, or those deemed to be universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act of 1956. Alternatively, candidates may hold qualifications that the Government has declared to be equivalent. It is essential that candidates meet these educational requirements at the time they submit their applications.

        Additionally, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Assamese or any other official language, as well as any of the tribal languages recognized in the State. Registration with a District Employment Office in Assam is also mandatory, and applicants must be original residents of Assam.

        Ex-Servicemen must provide their Ex-Servicemen Identity Card issued by the Zila Sainik Welfare Office along with their Discharge Book; failure to present these documents will result in disqualification from the Ex-Servicemen category. Furthermore, individuals with Benchmark Disabilities should verify the specific posts available for their category of disability as indicated in the advertisement and should indicate their preferences when submitting their applications for the Main Examination.

        Age: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2022.

        Relaxation of Age: 

        • SC/STP/STH Candidates:- upto 43 years.
        • OBC/MOBC Candidates:- upto 41 years.
        • PWBD:- By 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates.

        For Prelims Exam: The venues for the APSC Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination 2022 include BARPETA, BONGAIGAON, BISWANATH CHARIALI, DHEMAJI, DHUBRI, DIBRUGARH, DIPHU, GOALPARA, GOLAGHAT, GUWAHATI, HAFLONG, HAMREN, HATSINGIMARI, HOJAI, JORHAT, KAJALGAON, KARIMGANJ, KOKRAJHAR, MAJULI, MANGALDOI, MORIGAON, MUSHALPUR, NAGAON, NALBARI, NORTH LAKHIMPUR, SILCHAR, SIVASAGAR, SONARI, TEZPUR, TINSUKIA, and UDALGURI.

        For Mains Exam:The Combined Competitive (Main) Examination will take place exclusively at the GUWAHATI Centre.

        APSC CC Prelims Exam Date 2025

        The official recruitment announcement for the APSC CC Exam 2024 was released on March 25, 2025, providing candidates with approximately two months to prepare for the preliminary examination. The preliminary exam is tentatively set to take place on June 1, 2025, which falls on a Sunday. Additionally, the main examination is provisionally planned for August or September of the same year.

        Please Note that he Paper II of the C.C. (Prelim) Examination is a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.

        APSC CC Mains Exam 2025 Pattern

        Based on the outcomes of the Preliminary Examination, the number of candidates eligible to proceed to the written segment of the Main Examination will be set at 11 to 12 times the number of vacancies announced for each category. The selection process will be conducted solely on merit, in strict compliance with the regulations governing Vertical and Horizontal Reservation as mandated by the applicable laws.

        The written examination will comprise six papers, which will include both conventional essay-type and objective-type questions, each with specified word limits. Additionally, the scores achieved in the Interview for the Personality Test will be factored into the overall ranking. The written examination will encompass the following papers:
