The initial glimpse of the biopic ‘AJEY – The Untold Story of a Yogi’ reveals the transformation of Yogi Adityanath

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, is set to be the subject of a biopic. The initial look of the forthcoming film ‘AJEY- The Untold Story of a Yogi’ was revealed on Wednesday. The motion poster provides a preview of Yogi Adityanath’s remarkable journey, highlighting the pivotal moments that influenced his spiritual and political development.

It depicts his formative years, his choice to adopt sanyas as a Nathpanthi Yogi, and his progression into a political figure and leader. This film draws inspiration from the book ‘The Monk Who Became Chief Minister’ by Shantanu Gupta and aims to deliver a captivating mix of drama, emotion, action, and sacrifice. Anant Joshi will portray the role of Yogi Adityanath.

The cast also includes notable actors such as Paresh Rawal, Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’, Ajay Mengi, Pavan Malhotra, Garima Singh, and Rajesh Khattar in significant roles. Regarding the film, Producer Ritu Mengi of Samrat Cinematics remarked, “Yogi Adityanath’s life is marked by challenges, resilience, and transformation. Our film narrates his journey in a captivating and dramatic way, bringing to life the events that have defined him.

With a talented ensemble cast and a compelling storyline, we are eager to share this inspirational tale with audiences around the globe.” The film’s music is composed by Meet Bros, while the screenplay is crafted by Dilip Bachchan Jha and Priyank Dubey, with cinematography by Vishnu Rao and production design by Udai Prakash Singh.

Director Ravindra Gautam stated, “Our film serves as a profound source of inspiration for the youth of our nation, illustrating the story of a humble middle-class boy from a remote village in Uttarakhand who rises to become the Chief Minister of India’s most populous state.

His journey embodies determination, selflessness, faith, and leadership, and we have dedicated ourselves to creating an immersive experience that honors his extraordinary life.” Produced by Ritu Mengi under the Samrat Cinematics banner, the film is scheduled for a grand global release in 2025, available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
