In a remarkable accomplishment, three exceptional Class X students from Shiksha Valley School—Harshit Borah, Shlok Drishtanta, and Nikhilesh Gogoi—have been selected for the esteemed Raising A Mathematician Training Programme (RAMTP) 2025.
This national mathematics training camp will take place at Vedic Vidya Kendra in Puducherry. The RAMTP is a distinguished initiative aimed at fostering mathematical talent throughout India. From a multitude of applications, only a few students were chosen for this prestigious program, making it particularly noteworthy that three participants hail from the same institution in Dibrugarh.
This achievement not only underscores the students’ commitment and skill but also showcases the school’s dedication to academic excellence. The camp will be led by distinguished mathematics professors from both India and abroad, providing participants with the opportunity to explore advanced mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies. Additionally, the students will engage with peers who share similar interests, gaining exposure to a wider academic landscape. The school management, educators, and fellow students have expressed great pride in this accomplishment. The school principal remarked, ‘We are incredibly proud of Harshit, Shlok, and Nikhilesh. This is a significant milestone not only for them but for the entire Dibrugarh community.’
