As IMD predicts a severe cold spell in Delhi NCR , the government is urging all schools in the capital to reopen on 16 January. According to IMD, Delhi NCR will see a temperature drop of 4-6 degrees Celsius next week. IMD predicts heavy to very heavy fog in Delhi and other parts of northern India over the next five days.
